What a year! ⠀

As I sit back and reflect on the year that was, I almost can’t believe how amazing it has been. ⠀

It’s been a spectacular year. A year full of achievements and lessons.

✖️I went on my first solo trip to Canada.⠀

✖️I celebrated my third strokeversary.⠀

✖️I was interviewed by channel 9 about the Stroke Ambulance.⠀

✖️I met with my local MP to discuss the need for a stroke ambulance in NSW.⠀

✖️I turned twenty eight and had a fab time celebrating. ⠀

✖️I finally met with everyone from the Stroke Foundation HQ in Melbourne.⠀

✖️I met with the NSW Health Ministers Office to discuss the need for a stroke ambulance in NSW.⠀

✖️I won a pulse award at work, Met with our CEO and made so many amazing connections (hello future).⠀

✖️I participated in Stride4Stroke and was featured in my local paper.⠀

✖️I joined the Stroke Safe Ambassador Team.⠀

✖️We celebrated the 100,000th copy of My Stroke Journey at RNSH and I got to share my story with other survivors and someone from Bayer Pharmaceuticals. ⠀

✖️I was selected to be on a consumer panel for Living Guidelines for Stroke in 2019.⠀

It’s safe to say that 2018 has been the best year yet. I’m ready for you 2019. I’m ready to see what challenges face me and I’m ready to see what achievements I can make. I’m READY. 2019, let’s do this.

Thank you for all your support and following along on my journey. ♥️⠀

I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year, stay safe and wishing you all the best for 2019 ✨ ⠀
